A Bad Bill: INT 1059-2009
INT 1059 proposed by the City Council requires that every business in this city -- no matter how small -- provide paid sick time to employees. Businesses with as few as 10 employees will be required to provide 9 paid sick days to each employee every year; businesses with fewer than 10 employees must provide a minimum of 5.

We are working hard to help our elected officials understand the potentially devastating consequences this legislation will have on small, independent businesses.  For more information and links to contact your elected representatives please click LINK.

The City Council will hold hearings on INT 1059 on Tuesday, November 17th at 1pm in Council Chambers.  Please come and tell the council members how this bill will impact your business.
