Networking: Coffee and Cards

Coffee and Cards is an early morning (not too early!) business card exchange hosted in a member business location. A direct opportunity to meet chamber members and their guests, in person, and to network with and business professionals who understand the meaning and value of building mutually beneficial relationships.

We believe simple relationships can drive growth for your business. Each registered Chamber Member can bring a guest, a colleague or associate, so that the network is strong, not limited and constantly growing. Members can bring non-member guests to coffee & cards, but non-members may only attend one Coffee and Cards event. Members can attend solo of course!
Interested in hosting a Coffee & Cards at your store? Contact the Chamber!

Networking: After hours mixers

After hours mixers are networking events hosted after regular business hours over cocktails at a member business location. Annually, 2 of our after hours mixers are with Community Board 2 and 4 so that our businesses can meet and mingle with Board Members of their local Community Board. Get leads, enjoy good conversation, and build relationships. Interested in hosting an after hours mixer? Contact the Chamber!

Safe Cities, Safe Streets

Safe Cities, Safe Street, the Chamber’s annual Cop of the Year Awards Luncheon, is a program designed to honor the work and bravery of those men and women who protect our homes, business and streets day-in and day-out. This event is an avenue for businesses in the community to say thank you, and the police to be officially recognized for their service. We are committed to the officers from the 6th, 9th, 10th and 13th precincts, for the work they do that enhances our lives, and supports our freedom. Held yearly in December, so stay tuned for details. Interested in sponsoring this years’ Safe Cities, Safe Streets? Contact the Chamber!

Village Jazz Alive

Greenwich Village has always been home to music, culture and diversity and has been the birthplace of new ideas and movements for decades. Village Jazz Alive celebrates this history by honoring individuals who have made and those who continue to make Greenwich Village-Chelsea Chamber of Commerce a place of magic. Get involved by contacting the Chamber.

Luncheons

The Chamber provides our membership with the opportunity to lunch with local elected officials, prominent business people and important leaders in the community. The guest speaker addressed the crowd at a local member restaurant over a 3 course meal with an opportunity to ask questions of the speaker and get your voice and opinion heard. Luncheons are held several times a year and have included City Council Speaker Quinn, REBNY director Steven Spinola and State Comptroller Tom DiNapoli. Interested in hosting a luncheon? Click here. Have a topic or speaker you’d like to hear from? Let us know.

Business Education

Every year the Chamber aims to connect local businesses with the most up-to-date information and resources that help you better operate your business and be more effective, efficient and knowledgeable. We have seen small business education make a difference to individual businesses and hope you will take advantage of the seminars offered in the coming year. Have a topic you want to hear about?
