A new partnership between the city’s public libraries and cultural organizations, the program will make it possible for library cardholders from across the five boroughs to check out free day passes to participating museums and other cultural venues via an online portal. Though spanning three different library systems (BPL, New York Public Library, and Queens Library), the NYC Culture Pass program will be a single, citywide service, with one identity and one promotion strategy. The program manager will oversee targeted promotion efforts in underserved communities, and will work with participating organizations to highlight specific collections and exhibitions through the program’s website and at select libraries.
