On Thursday, May 14 the GVCCC hosted a Candidate's Forum for the New York State 66th Assembly District seat, bringing together candidates, business leaders, and community stakeholders for a discussion focused on the future of Lower Manhattan’s business community.

The event was coordinated by the GVCCC Government Relations Committee and featured opening remarks from Jessica Walker, President & CEO of the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce. The forum was moderated by GVCCC Board Member Caroline Weaver, owner of Locavore Variety Store, who guided a thoughtful discussion on issues impacting local businesses and economic growth.
