SAFE CITY, SAFE STREETS
Since 2003, the GVCCC has built stronger, safer communities through its Safe City, Safe Streets program, fostering collaboration between local law enforcement and the people and businesses they protect.
Throughout the year, our Precinct Talks & Tours bring business leaders and community members together with the NYPD for a behind-the-scenes look at precinct operations. These conversations create open dialogue around public safety, strengthen trust, and give participants a firsthand understanding of how our officers keep our neighborhood's secure.
SAFE CITY, SAFE STREETS LUNCHEON
The Safe City, Safe Streets program culminates with our Awards Luncheon in December. We honor officers from each of the participating precincts with the prestigious Officer of the Year Award. We also honor a community leader with the Neighborhood Leadership Award.
CHAMBER CHANGEMAKER AWARDS
The annual Chamber Changemaker Awards is a celebration of business brilliance and the indomitable spirit that transforms neighborhoods into vibrant hubs of success. More than just an awards ceremony, this event is a vital fundraiser, fueling the Chamber's mission to empower local businesses, foster economic growth, and create lasting positive change. Be part of this transformative evening that recognizes and applauds the resilience and creativity within our neighborhoods.
Note: The Changemaker Awards will be on hiatus in 2026. We hope to return in 2027 with a new round of honorees.
GVCCC ANNUAL MEETING
The GVCCC Annual Meeting is an opportunity for all of our members to come together and celebrate the successes of the past year and see what we have planned in the coming year. Usually held in the first quarter of the calendar year, the meeting is also an opportunity for members to elect a new Board.
