Director of Marketing and Communications
Tearanny Street brings over a decade of strategic marketing and communications experience across nonprofit, higher education, and corporate sectors. She currently leads the marketing and communications team at Greenwich House, where she supports the organization's mission through impactful outreach and engagement strategies.
Before joining Greenwich House, Tearanny served as Executive Director of Marketing, Communications, and Special Events at St. Francis College in Brooklyn, overseeing the college’s marketing initiatives. Her previous roles include Director of Marketing and Communications at UCLA, where she promoted Summer Sessions and study abroad programs, and Communications Officer at Georgia Tech, supporting the university’s library.
In addition to her professional expertise, Tearanny has firsthand experience working with brick-and-mortar businesses, giving her a deep understanding of the challenges small businesses face in today’s marketplace. She is eager to bring this perspective to the GVCCC Board of Directors in support of its mission.
Tearanny holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations with a minor in Political Science and a Master of Science in Public Relations, both from The University of Southern Mississippi.
